Last updated: 25 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all commercial transactions conducted through buzzfeedvo for Insurance Programming services. These services include the development, customization, licensing, and maintenance of software solutions tailored for insurance operations in Singapore. The policy covers one-time purchases, subscription-based access to programming tools, and related consulting engagements. It does not extend to third-party products integrated within our platforms unless explicitly stated in the service agreement.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges
All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise indicated. Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of nine percent, which will be added at checkout. Additional charges may apply for expedited delivery of physical documentation, custom integrations beyond standard scope, or usage exceeding agreed data volumes. Currency conversion fees imposed by payment providers are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our pricing.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers via local Singapore banks, and electronic wallets approved for use in Singapore. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission of an order. All transactions are processed through secure gateways compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. buzzfeedvo does not store full card details. Customers receive confirmation of successful authorisation via email.
Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A binding contract forms upon our issuance of a written confirmation email following receipt of payment. This confirmation outlines the specific Insurance Programming deliverables, timelines, and any applicable terms. Until this confirmation is sent, no contract exists and payments may be returned without penalty if the order cannot be fulfilled.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Customers in Singapore have the right to cancel certain service agreements within seven working days from the date of contract formation, provided no substantial work has commenced. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to review under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available for unused portions of prepaid subscriptions or services where performance has not begun. Exclusions apply to custom-developed code, completed programming modules, and promotional or discounted offerings. Digital deliverables that have been downloaded or accessed are generally non-refundable once the contract is executed.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us using the details on our Contacts page or by emailing [email protected]. Provide your order reference, proof of payment, a clear description of the issue, and supporting evidence. Requests must be made within thirty days of the transaction date. Incomplete submissions will delay processing.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision
Our team inspects each request within ten business days. Approval occurs if eligibility criteria are met; otherwise, a detailed rejection notice explaining the reasons will be sent. Customers may appeal once with additional information. Final decisions rest with buzzfeedvo in accordance with Singapore consumer law.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes five to fifteen business days after approval, though bank transfer refunds may require up to thirty days depending on the receiving institution. Customers are notified by email when the refund is initiated.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant
Digital Insurance Programming content is provided under a non-exclusive licence that terminates upon cancellation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Promotional offers carry no cash value and refunds are limited to the actual amount paid. Ongoing services such as maintenance retain pro-rata refund eligibility only if terminated for cause.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments result in order suspension until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically upon detection. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to service termination. Suspected fraudulent activity triggers immediate account review and reporting to relevant Singapore authorities where required.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in Singapore That the Policy Cannot Exclude
This policy does not exclude or limit any rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Sale of Goods Act, or the Unfair Contract Terms Act. Customers retain the right to seek remedies through the Small Claims Tribunal or other competent bodies for breaches of implied terms regarding service quality and fitness for purpose.
